Deadverse Massive “TakeOver”
We always want to let you know about great, new music. Especially when it is created by part of our Ipecac family. You gotta checkout the Deadverse Massive TakeOver digital release now. This is the project created by Will Brooks of dälek fame.
As much an architect of the dälek sound as the voice of it, Brooks produced the 18 tracks on TakeOver with an ear toward classic ‘90s East Coast hip-hop and a refusal to make something that anyone could ever call “retro” or “throwback.”
It's available on iTunes, Amazon, and direct from Bandcamp.

To Our Fans in New Zealand
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the recent earthquake in New Zealand. We are relieved to report that the Melvins are a little freaked out, but unscathed. The band was at the airport in Christchurch about to board a flight to Wellington when the earthquake, centered in Christchurch, struck. The airport was evacuated. The Melvins are doing everything they can to reschedule the shows that were affected, but more importantly the band's thoughts are with the people of Christchurch.

Active since 2006, Moonchild has released four CDs speaking directly to young, open minded and curious music lovers around the world, and their newest recording is the most varied and driving to date. Ipsissimus is the fifth surprising installment in the remarkable Moonchild legacy.
Scion A/V Video: Melvins - “Electric Flower”
As part of the Scion A/V Music Video Series, director Mark Brooks created a stop motion masterpiece that effectively juxtaposes the Melvin’s guitar thrash with disturbingly cute, slightly referential dolls.
