IPECAC RECORDINGS is EXtremely honored to welcome the renowned electronica duo, MOUSE ON MARS to the family! After releasing 5 records on Thrill Jockey Records, we were lucky to convince them to release "Varcharz" on our little ol label. MoM is a perfect fit. They have long been lauded as one of the few electronica acts that have maintained a career while constantly reinventing what they do. At times hard and at other times easy. They have described as "nerdtronica". I think that is meant as a compliment. Call them what you like. We call them a band that we have always been fans of and are thrilled to slap our logo on their newest release, "Varcharz". In stores now!

Hey, Tom Green has given Neil Hamburger his own spin-off internet TV talk show ("Poolside Chats With Neil Hamburger") which premieres tonight at 9 PM Pacific US (midnight Eastern) and the premiere guest will be Buzz Osbourne(Melvins) !

Spread the word! It airs free on the internet at www.tomgreen.com. Buzz and Neil will be taking calls from the viewers live.

1) First up. If you have not already discovered it (but enough of you have to crash our site!) head to the discography section and listen to a track from the new Isis record!!! That is correct, the highly anticipated new full length from Ipecacsuperstars, Isis called "In The Absence of Truth" comes out on Halloween! But you can get an earful by listening to "Dulcinea" in the discography section at www.ipecac.com
The very first of what we hope will be many Ipecac DVDs comes out at the end of September when Isis releases "Clearing the Eye". This DVD is chock FULL of Isis goodies.

And of course, don't forget to show up early to see Isis currently on the road opening for TOOL. Now that is a ticket to buy! That's a lot of Isis news.

2) Attention back to school shoppers! On Wednesday August 23rd, we unveil the new Peeping Tom merch in our merch store! That's right, you too can rock a hairnet or spy on your neighbors using your Peeping Tom binoculars. Mousepads and shirts too! See you at the store.

Wow! Just when you think things can't get any cooler or weirder. We are very happy to announce that PEEPING TOM have been asked to open the first 7 US shows for the freakin' WHO in September!!!!!! First Gnarls Barkley, then the WHO???? This is fun! I'm not talking about the Guess Who. We're talking "Won't Get Fooled Again". Pete and Roger. Madison Square Garden. Hot damn. Look for dates listed in calendar section. To be honest, not sure if any tickets are left.
